New Students
We invite all families interested in enrolling their child(ren) at Jesus and Mary Academy to begin with a tour of our school. You can request a tour by calling the school office at (915) 544-7385 or by submitting the "Contact Form".
New Student Requirements
Academy students must have US citizenship and be fluent in the English language.
All students, whether Catholic or not, are expected to submit to the full curriculum as offered: They must attend all religion classes and participate in all activities.
1st Grade students must be 6 years old by June 1 of the year of enrollment.
1st Grade applicants must have attended a kindergarten OR meet the required minimum knowledge for 1st grade.
School personnel will review academic, testing, and behavioral records from previous schools, and will administer entrance exams if necessary to prospective students before initial grade placement.
Parents must notify the school of any learning, emotional or behavioral handicaps prior to admission. The Academy reserves the right to deny admission due to limited special education facilities and resources.
To Submit a New Student Application
New Academy Families (those without a student currently enrolled in the Academy), first create a FACTS Family Portal Account.
Our District Code is JMA-TX. This account will provide a secure login in which to create and submit one or more student applications.
After creating your account, click on the Application link to login and submit student applications.
Current Academy Families (those with a student enrolled in the Academy), do not need to create an account for a new student.
Instead, login to your FACTS Family Portal Account, navigate to Apply / Enroll > Application, and you will see a button near the bottom of the page that reads "Create a New Student Application".
Click that button to start a new student application.Review the 2026-2027 tuition and fees.
Returning Students
Returning students should NOT submit an Application.
At the end of the academic year, it will be judged by the school principals if students are to be promoted to the next grade, retained in grade, or separated from the Academy. This information will be given to parents after final grades become available.
Returning students DO need to complete Enrollment into the next grade.
To Submit Returning Student Enrollment
Log in to your FACTS Family Portal Account.
Navigate to Apply / Enroll > Enrollment / Reenrollment, and you will see your reenrollment students each with a link to start their reenrollment packet.
Review the 2026-2027 tuition and fees.
Tuition & Fees
Tuition Rates and Fees for the 2025-2026 academic year are as follows:
Tuition: $2,250 for one / the first student; $1,550 per student thereafter
Book Fee: $100 per student
Registration Fees (fees charged to our school by FACTS SIS):
Application Fee: $22 per student (new student(s) only)
Enrollment Fee: $11 per student (returning student(s) only)
Payment Plan Fee: $50 per family
FACTS SIS Fee: $20 per student
Financial Aid
We understand that tuition and fees are challenging for families, especially given the rising cost of living. We remain committed to working with you to ensure that your child's education remains accessible.
Families seeking financial assistance are encouraged to submit a Financial Aid Application through FACTS, who provides an objective evaluation for financial need of our families on an annual basis.
Additionally, Governor Abbott signed Senate Bill 2 into law on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Families are encouraged to apply to the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program during annual Open Enrollment.
